A Bloody Game of Cat and Mouse.

Ever so often I take the time to read from more experienced authors, not just to kill time and be entertained, but also to hear different voices and see things from a different point of view. What I’ve always enjoyed about Eric Jerome Dickey is that he has a poetic way of describing his scenes and the thoughts of his characters. As for the story, it was a good cat and mouse tale as Gideon appears to finally learn the identity of his father, or does he? I recommend that you do not begin with this novel, but start from the first book in the series or else you may end up getting lost with the numerous characters. The ending answers many questions, but the reader will be left with a few new ones—which was clearly done to let us know that Gideon will be back.
